Cane field studio is built in the basement of an old plantation house, the property is some ninty plus years old, the live room is approx 27x18x 9 ft with the control room being 10x18x9 ft. There is also an Iso booth and a lounge area.
Due to the age of the structure ,and the basic composition (three foot lime stone walls ) we thought it best to surface mount all the electrics and cable runs, this leaves the intergrity of the structure intact and also makes any adjustments and expansion easy. There was also very little need for sound proofing and most of the construction centered around tunning the rooms.
